A personal note...

A large event like yours is most often why people turn to a party planner.  Such a huge undertaking can be overwhelming, leaving one baffled with where even to begin.

As with all of our events, big or small, we will start with a consultation.  At this free meeting we will discuss your vision, budget, and whether it would be best for you to hire a planner or coordinator.  This is also a good time for you to decide if I'm a good fit for you.

A planner can guide you in invitation decisions, menu planning, venue, rentals, caterers. DJ/band and photographer options.  She will help in finding or making decorations and keeps all of these decision costs within your budget and help you make decisions on schedule.  You will have unlimited access to your planner by phone or email.

A soiree coordinator does everything a planner does PLUS provides on site assistance.  Your coordinator will be available for a rehearsal (if required) and arrives early to decorate for the event.  She meets with the vendors for set up and instruction and stays during the event to keep everything running on schedule and to clean it all up as well!

'Day Of ' Coordinator

My own wedding was very low budget.  Despite the cut corners, I still have friends and family who talk about the most fun wedding they had ever been too!  I have a heart for the brides, grooms, and other party goers who need to mind their spending closely.  A budget lends to more creativity!  Please do not let that keep you from having that free consultation so we can talk about how to make your day all that you dreamed of without breaking the bank.

Most soirees are a celebration of something big!  A graduation, retirement, bar mitzvah, or more often than not, a wedding!  Being a part of these landmark celebrations has been so special and such an honor!

Where To Begin

Congratulations!

Perhaps you have quite the knack for party planning yourself but you would like to have someone take over on the actual day so that you can enjoy the festivities.  If that sounds like you then you are looking for a Day Of Coordinator.

A Day Of Coordinator works way more than on the day of!  Your Day Of Coordinator should be hired no later than a month out from the date.  Together, you will review what is already planned and she will help make sure there is nothing being overlooked.  All vendor connections will be turned over to the DOC.  She will take over keeping them abreast of times and changes.  There will be an onsite visit prior to the event date to confirm your vision for layout.  If there is a rehearsal, she'll be there to direct entrances, exits, music, etc.  On the day of the event, your DOC will be at the venue early to meet with vendors, set up and decorate.  If you're hiring a DOC for a wedding, she will be at the ceremony early and will make sure all goes as rehearsed.  During your event/reception she keeps everything on schedule, makes sure the photographer is there for important moments like cutting the cake, and is there to find solutions to any problems that may arise...and MORE.    Your DOC can be hired at 15% of your total event budget with a $1000 minimum.
